Rachel and Brian's fall wedding at the Rainbow Room with the brilliant McKenzie Miller Films!
Rachel and Brian wanted a formal New York City wedding and found the perfect place at the iconic Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Plaza. The stunning views of the city and the gorgeous art deco details in the historic venue made it a sure thing as soon as they saw the space.
Read moreCarly and Xavier were looking for something unique. Perhaps an outdoor wedding or a view of the New York skyline. We managed to find them both of these things at the Central Park Zoo! They had a small ceremony at City Hall and invited their dearest friends and family to party with them at the zoo. A zoo isn't immediately what you think of as wedding worthy, but the Central Park Zoo is a special place. The warm brick columns and the lush green ivy, make it truly beautiful. Carly wore a stunning lace jumpsuit from DVF and carried a lush bouquet of deep red peonies.

How lovely to get more love for this elegant Central Park Zoo Wedding on Carats and Cake! Thank you for the feature.
Thank you to Style Me Pretty for featuring Carly and Xavier's spring wedding at the Central Park Zoo! It was such a unique location for a reception. Guests enjoyed cocktails around the sea lion pool, with an incredible view of Central Park South, and went on to dinner under a tent filled with twinkling lights. It was a really fun celebration and I loved being part of it!

Emily and Leon had a New York wedding in spring, the same season as when they first started dating. I loved their elegant and timeless style, and the addition of sweet little whimsical touches. Her Monique Lhuillier gown had an intricately beaded bodice and a full ballgown skirt with an asymmetric gather. Emily hand illustrated the save the date herself! She often drew a cartoon bear and lion to represent them as a couple and this illustration made its way to the formal invitation and the Eleni's cookie favours. Blossom and Branch brought spring to the inside of the Four Seasons Hotel with towering cherry blossoms and romantic peonies everywhere, including coral charms, which are such show stoppers. I particularly loved their wedding cake from Nine Cakes with a gold accent tier and a cascade of loose cherry blossoms tinged in gold falling down the cake. Thank you to Brian Hatton for capturing their sweet day!
Read moreRachel and Mike were married on a beautiful sunny day in March. They lucked out with lovely warm weather, which allowed for dreamy portraits just outside the American Museum of Natural History. Right around the corner from where Rachel grew up on the Upper West Side. Their ceremony and reception took place at Gotham Hall, where Fleurs brought such an elegant, classic and glamourous touch.

There is nothing quite like a New York Public Library wedding. The majestic building is simply breathtaking. Marti looked a vision in a custom Ulla Maija Anna Maier gown holding a striking bouquet of only deep red peonies as she married Rod in the dramatic Astor Hall. We used ghost chairs for the ceremony. With beautiful lighting from Levy Lighting, it really let the room and architectural details shine. The corridor was lined with glass globes filled with tea lights to lead guests to Celeste Bartos where they dined and danced under a starry night.
Read moreEmily and Leon were married at an intimate ceremony at Fifty7 in the Four Seasons Hotel on a beautiful spring day in May. What really struck me about this couple was how loving and supportive they were of each other. When I met their families later on, it was clear who they had learned that from. It was truly a delight to work with such a sweet couple and I wish them so much happiness in years ahead. Thanks to McKenzie Miller for sharing this film of their day.
Martha Stewart Weddings described Cristina and Jason's celebration as simply chic and I could not agree more. There is beauty in simplicity and this elegant day exuded it with such grace.
I love the flowers in May. Poppies and Posies created lush romantic garden arrangements, and a bouquet so dreamy that the bride never wanted to put it down. It was important to the couple to make it feel intimate and inclusive of their families. Jason's dad officiated the ceremony, grandma embroidered the cloth covering the chuppah and they displayed old family photos on a gold bookshelf from Patina Rentals. Cristina is the talented owner of Riles and Co. and she hand poured 132 candles for wedding favours. I had a really hard time editing down these pretty images from Mademoiselle Fiona!
